Questions plumbers ask
Straight answers. If yours isn't here, reply to any email from us and a human responds.
How is this different from Angi, Thumbtack, or HomeAdvisor?
Those sell the same lead to three or four plumbers at once, so you're racing competitors to the phone. WrenchCalls runs your own ads — every call is exclusively yours, and the ad account is in your name.
What do I actually pay?
A flat monthly management fee ($149–$549 depending on plan) plus your own ad budget, which goes directly to Google — never through us. No setup fee, no contract, no percentage of your ad spend.
How much ad budget do I need?
Most one-truck shops start around $50–75/day; busier shops run $100–150/day for steadier volume. You set it, you can change it anytime, and the AI stretches it toward your cheapest calls.
How fast will I get calls?
Google Search ads can start driving calls within days, but the system needs about two weeks to learn before it hits steady volume. Anyone who promises a flood of calls on day one is guessing.
Do I have to manage anything?
No. You answer your phone and, if you want the cost-per-job numbers, tell us which calls turned into jobs. The AI handles keywords, bids, budget, and optimization every day.
What if I get a junk lead?
Flag it on your dashboard — wrong number, spam, out of area, or a service you don't do — and it's credited. No argument.
Which ads do you run?
Google Search — the high-intent “plumber near me” searches that turn into calls. It's what we can build and optimize fully automatically today. We may add other channels over time, but we only promise what we can actually run hands-off.
What happens if I cancel?
We stop spending the moment you cancel — no notice period, no cancellation fee. Your call history and campaign data are yours to export and keep. We run the ads inside our managed platform so you never have to build or connect anything, which also means there's no account for you to untangle when you leave.
